This 'workhorse' professional camera is recommended for weddings, cultural events, band performances, athletic events, web-streaming videos. Records DVD quality video and absolutely incredible audio.
This is the camera I used to produce a
dozen broadcast-quality short films for PBS, and is still busy working on
high-end projects.

Camera (Panasonic AG-DVC200P)
This Professional DV camera is recommended for the production of very-high-end broadcast-quality video projects, including feature-length films, documentaries, short films, TV commercials and music videos; as well as corporate promos/training DVDs.
Records in SD, but has higher specifications than most HD cameras.
This is the camera I plan on using for my own future
filmmaking projects, due to exceptional image and sound quality and the
straightforward workflow of
editing the DV format on existing computer systems.

This equipment is recommended for the
production of High Definition cinema quality projects, especially feature length
films. Results from this camera are
absolutely stunning, and will
be ideal for distribution on HD-DVD or Blu-Ray Disc for large-screen viewing,
or transfer to 16mm or 35mm movie film for movie theaters.
I do not edit HD at present, nor can I suggest
anyone who does.
