Film-style production rates based on work days:

1. JVC S-VHS camera: $200 for a half day, $350 for a full day.

2. Panasonic Professional DV camera: $250 for a half day, $400 for a full day.

Production expenses: includes the necessary items to successfully complete the production; travel expenses, location fees, videotape, movie light bulbs, lunch for cast and crew, and depending on the complexity of the day’s shoot, compensation for crewmembers (at half the rate of Talent).

On-camera talent: is to receive a minimum of $150 per half-day, $200 per full-day per person unless they are a paid employee of your company.

Film-style Pre-production and Post-production rates based on work days:

Pre-production: (scriptwriting, attending meetings, scouting locations, auditioning talent, creating or finding costumes, creating or finding props) $250 per day.

Materials: for film-style dramatic productions, it may be necessary for me to purchase the materials needed to complete the Pre-production process, such as props, costumes, expenses related to printing scripts and photographing locations.

Post-production: standard definition editing, (including music, titles, transitions and transfer to broadcast quality DVD) $250 per day.

Videography (NOT film-style) coverage of half-day or full-day events: A very-long-format video such as coverage of a half-day or full-day meeting or sales presentation (videotaped from one fixed camera angle, recorded for archival or training purposes only, requiring no editing other than transfer to DVD):

• Half-day: $300 (includes videography $200, and transfer to DVD $100)

• Full-day: $500 (includes videography $350, and transfer to DVD $150)
